This is the self-bio section where I have to write something honest and clever while trying not to come across as self-absorbed and narcissistic. This will be challenging. :p

Um, so, I guess first…I like music? Yes, let’s start with that. I like music, mostly hip hop but I’m open to basically anything. Seriously, I got Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, and Katy Perry on my iTunes, mixed in with the Nas, Biggie, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Drake, Beyonce, etc. I keeps it funky. I’m a big sports fan, amateur movie buff, occasional writer of poetry and short stories, aspiring foodie, I pretend to be a rapper, I still sort of play video games, I read less than I have in the past, and I’m still involved in the endeavour of chasing dreams. One day I will see all 7 continents on Earth and at least one on Mars once we finally get there. And some people might tell you that I like to wear brightly coloured pants–they’re lying.

Oh and I’m also a passionate mental health advocate and a believer in all things equitable, who will do anything in my power to help others. I want to improve the lives of the people around me, so that they are motivated to improve the lives of those around them, so that one day, together, we will all change the world.
